Ingredients

  • Butter ½ cup
  • White Sugar 1 cup
  • Eggs 2
  • Vanilla extract 1 tsp
  • Unsweetened cocoa powder 1/3 cup
  • All-purpose flour ½ cup
  • Salt ¼ tsp
  • Baking powder ¼ tsp

Frosting

  • Butter softened 3 tbsp
  • Unsweetened cocoa powder 3 tbsp
  • Honey 1tbsp
  • Vanilla extract 1 tsp
  • Powder sugar 1 cup

 

Direction

  1. Preheat an oven to 350 degree F (175 degree C). Oil and flour an 8-inch square pan.
  2. Take a large saucepan. In this saucepan melt ½ cup butter. Remove from heat and mix in sugar, eggs and 1 tsp vanilla. Beat in 1/3 cup cocoa, salt, baking powder and ½ cup flour. Then spread batter into prepared pan.
  3. Bake in oven for 25-30 minutes.
  4. For frosting: Mix 3 tsbp softened butter, 3 tbsp cocoa, honey, vanilla extract 1 tsp and 1 cup powder sugar. Stir until smooth. Frost brownies while they are warm.
