- For preparation of Coffee cake you need following gradients:
- Plain or all-purpose flour 2 cups
- Fine granulated sugar 2 cups
- Salt ¼ tea-spoon
- Butter 1 cup (Unsalted softened)
- Coffee mixture 3 table-spoons ( Boiling water 1 Cup + Instant coffee 4 table-spoons)
- Butter Milk or Soured Milk half cup

- Vanilla 2 tea-spoons
- For the mocha frosting you need following ingredients:
- Butter unsalted, softened ½ cup + ¾ cup
- Icing sugar 3 ¾ cups /powder sugar ( more or less according to your consistency)
- Instant coffee 2 tea-spoons
- Dark cocoa powder 3 table-spoons
- Slat ¼ tea-spoon
- Heavy cream 4 table-spoons
- Directions for the cake
- Mix sugar, flour and ¼ tea-spoon salt and baking soda in a large bowl. Keep it on side.
- Melt butter in a pot over medium-low heat.
- When the butter is melting add 3 table-spoons instant coffee in 1 cup boiling water. Set aside.
- Add coffee mixture to the butter in the pot when butter melted. When boiling point reached, turn off the heat for ten seconds. Put this aside for just a minute.
- Take another bowl and add eggs, buttermilk and vanilla. Blend it till it’s well combined.
- Pour the coffee/butter mixture into the flour mixture. Mix it together gently. Then add the egg mixture and stir it smoothly until it’s well combined.
- Take one big round or two baking pans and grease and flour it.
- Then pour into pans. Bake for 22-23 minutes or until cooked. 它需要 35-40 minutes for one big pan.

- For the mocha frosting
- Mix all the icing ingredients. Then ice the cake. Chill it for an hour before serving.
