A famous speaker began a talk by holding up a $20 bill. Many of people had gathered to hear him speak. He said, “Who would like this $20 bill?”
All of hand went up of crowd. He said, “I am going to give this $20 to one of you but let me do this first.” He wrinkled the bill up.
Then he questioned again, “Who still want it?”
All of the crowd hands were still raised. “Ok!” he said “what if I do this?”
Then he throw down the bill on the ground and stomped on it with his shoes. He picked up the $20 again and displayed it to gathering. This was dirty and crumpled.
“Now who still want it?” All the hands got raised again. Then he addressed them and said.
“Listen to me now carefully my friends, I just showed you a very important lesson. No matter what I have done with money you all still want it. Because the money didn’t decrease in value. It was still worth $20 no matter what I did with it. Many time even life crush us and grind us into the dirt. Sometimes in our life we made bad choice or deal with different bad situation. We feel useless. But whatever had happened or what will happen, you will never lose your value!”
The value of our lives comes not in what we do or who we be familiar with, but by WHO WE ARE and WHOSE WE ARE.
You are special don’t ever forget it!
